The world contains an excess of more than several hundreds of different airlines. Throughout the world, tens of thousands of trips are scheduled on a daily basis. People travel on short trips from city to city, and long trips from country to country. They all seek comfort on their travels, but they also want fair pricing and promptness. The air travel industry is one of the busiest worldwide. It employs millions globally. Stock investments in the airlines usually remain steady, with the occasional rise, depending on the particular airline. Some air travel companies are well known, and some are not as prominent.
The Best Airline in the World
With the many airlines making trips abroad, as well as in their perspective countries, there are some that stand out to go above and beyond the average to please their customers. According to the Traveler’s Choice Awards presented by Trip Advisor, their top pick for the 2018 best worldwide airline is the Singapore Airlines. This company offered the best in first class comfort, business accommodations, and economy travel. It was cited as best among at least sixty nine other airlines. The Traveler’s Choice Awards selection was expanded to recognize, and include the regions of North America, Asia, Europe, South Pacific and Oceana, Latin America, The Middle East, and Africa. The award for being the best airline in the world only validated the hard work and dedication of the thousands of Singapore Airline employees.
The Second Best Airline in the World
The Traveler’s Choice Award sponsored by Trip Advisor chose the Air New Zealand Airlines as the number two spot for the best airlines in the world. Their most award winning attributes included the fabulous New Zealand complimentary white and red wines, the friendly flight attendants, and the excellent dinners. The bright red and white wings on the planes were an added plus for the popularity of the airline. The Asian airlines also had carriers on the global list, with four of them rounding out the top ten of the best in the world.
The Rest of the Best
The third airline to receive an award as best in the world is the Emirates of the United Arab Emirates. This airline was deemed as best in class, style, and comfort. Their service was very professional, but it did not lack the personable approach. The extreme comfort of the airline, and the atmosphere is partially due to the wider seats, and the bigger windows. Other airlines topping the list were, Japan Airlines, EVA airlines in Taiwan, and coming in at number six was Southwest Airlines of the United States. It was awarded for it’s promptness, and the efficient service. Although they do not have assigned seating, bags fly free, and this is of major importance to flyers. With their membership program, frequent flyer miles are much easier to accumulate. Jet 2,com of the United Kingdom, Qatar, Azul of Brazil, and Korean Air, South Korea end the top ten list of best airline in the world
